Calling all bookworms and coffee lovers!!!

The bookseller Borders is revamping its loyalty card program, including adding a paid option.

Members of both programs will receive in-store and online discounts, personal shopping days, FREE COFFEE, a free birthday gift and earn “Borders Bucks” that add up to other discounts depending on how much you buy.

Also, members of the free program will get 30 percent off the list price of hardcover bestsellers and free shipping for online orders of $25 or more.  I love free shipping.

Teachers who sign up for the program will be able to get a 10 percent discount on top of other discounts on specified days.

Members who pay $20 a year will get 40 percent off the list price of hardcover bestsellers, 20 percent off some other hardcovers, 10 percent off most other items and free shipping on most online orders.  I recommend you pick up “You Can’t Be Serious” by Elizabeth Lyons.  She’ll make you laugh, inspire you not to lose your mind while raising your children and support you as you fly your freak flag.  What’s a freak flag, check out the book and fly yours high and proud sister!
